Fire Spirit — My First Companion
Sparks was the first spirit I ever summoned, and honestly, he might still be my favorite.
Don't tell Bluey. Actually, don't tell any of the others.
He's surprisingly helpful around camp. He helps with cooking, keeps me warm at night, and makes a pretty good companion to sleep beside. Having what is essentially a living campfire following me around is more convenient than you'd think.
There is one problem, though.
Water.
Sparks gets ridiculously grumpy whenever he gets wet. I probably shouldn't laugh, considering he's literally made of fire, but it's pretty funny.
He's still not over our encounter with the Lake Guardian. I don't think he's ever going to forgive her for that fight. To be fair, if I were made of fire and someone tried to drown me, I'd probably hold a grudge too.
Despite his occasional temper, he's been a good companion. He's been with me since I escaped Fafnir Fortress, back when I had absolutely no idea what was going on.
Not that I understand much more now.
But at least I've got Sparks.
Personal note: Find out whether fire spirits actually need to sleep. And whether giving him firewood as a treat would be insulting.
